How to connect your extended power cables

1. Prepare the following tools.

Tools	Crimping pliers	Connection sleeve (mm)	Insulation tape	Contraction tube (mm)

2.As shown in the figure, peel off the shields from the rubber and wire of the power cable.

-- Peel off 20 mm of cable shields from the pre-installed tube.

• For information about the power cable specifications for

CAUTION	indoor and outdoor units, refer to the installation manual.
•	After peeling off cable wires from the pre-installed tube, insert
	a contraction tube.

3. Insert both sides of core wire of the power cable into the connection sleeve.

ffMethod 1

Push the core wire in to the sleeve from both sides.

ffMethod 2

Twist the wire cores together and push it in to the sleeve.
