Outdoor unit

ffAvoid a place that may disturb your neighbor. Noise may occur from the outdoor unit and the discharged air may run into the neighborhood. (Be careful of the operation time in a residential area.)

ffInstall the outdoor unit on a hard and even area that can withstand the vibration and its weight. ffChoose a flat place where rainwater does not settle or leak.

ffChoose a place that will avoid strong winds.

ffChoose a place that is well ventilated and allows enough space for repairs and service. (Discharge duct can be purchased privately.)

ffChoose a place where the connection of refrigerant pipe between an indoor unit and outdoor unit is within allowed distance.

ffPlace where condensed water dripping from the drain hose can run out properly and safely. ffChoose a place where flammable gas does not leak.

ffAvoid a place exposed to direct sunlight.

ffChoose a place where the unit could not come into contact with snow and rain. ffFor repair services and the ventilation, secure service area as shown in the figure.

fIfthere isn’t enough installation space, service person can get injured and it may also cause product failure. fIfyou need to ensure the outdoor unit from falling, use wires to fix it firmly.

-- Loosen the 4 screws from the top cover of the outdoor unit. -- Put the wire around the screws and fasten the screws.

-- Fix the wire on the ground.

When the outdoor unit is not firmly fixed, it may fall and cause

When the outdoor unit is installed in water-proofed rooftop, fix the

 

wires on the wall.

ffDo not install the outdoor unit at an unstable places (such as rooftop). If installation is unavoidable, make sure that you fix the unit firmly. Avoid places where strong wind or storm can possibly knock down the product (such as seashore or place with frequent storm).
