Multi-Track Sound <Mono>
Choose for channels that are broadcasting in mono or if you are having difficulty receiving a stereo
signal.
• <Stereo>
Choose for channels that are broadcasting in stereo.
• <SAP>
Choose to listen to the Separate Audio Program, which is usually a foreign-language translation.
Available only Analog <TV> mode.
Depending on the particular program being broadcast, you can listen to <Mono>, <Stereo>
or <SAP>.
Press the [TOOLS] button to display the Tools menu. You can also set the <Multi-Track Sound>
by selecting <Tools> <Multi-Track Sound>.
Auto Volume To equal ize the volume level on each channel, set to <Normal>.
<Off> - <Normal> - <Night>
<Night> : This mode provides an improved sound experience compared to <Normal> mode,
making almost no noise. It is useful at night.
Speaker Select When you watch product with it connecting to a Home theater, turn the product speakers off so you
can listen to sound from the Home theater’s (external) speakers.
<External Speaker>
Used to listen to the sound of the External (Home Theater) Speakers.
<TV Speaker>
Used to listen to the sound of the product Speakers.
If you select <External Speaker> in the <Speaker Select> menu, the sound settings will be
limited.
The volume and [MUTE] buttons do not operate when the <Speaker Select> is set to
<External Speaker>. Please set the volume on your Home theater.
SPDIF Output SPDIF (Sony Philips Digital Interface) is used to provide digital sound, reducing interference going to
speakers and various digital devices such as an A/V Receiver/Home theater.
<Audio Format>
During the reception of a digital TV broadcast, you can select the Digital Audio output (SPDIF)
format from the options <PCM> or <Dolby Digital>.
By connecting to 5.1ch speakers in a dolby digital setup, maximize your interactive 3D
sound xperience.
<Audio Delay>
Correct audio-video sync problems, when watching TV or video, and when listening to digital
audio output using an external device such as an AV receiver (0ms ~ 250ms).
Sound Reset Reset all sound settings to the factory defaults.
