Setting the Type of Caller ID (CID) Display

The CID display on the LCD can be the caller’s name or number (or you

can select ‘no display’). To select the display you want:

1. Press the [Menu] button and use the direction buttons to select.

Æ [6. CID Display]

Then, press the [Enter] button.

2. Use the direction buttons to select the

type of caller ID display.

z None: Caller IDs are not displayed.

z Name : If the name of a caller is

registered with the [Phone Book],

the name will be displayed. If not,

the caller’s telephone number will

be displayed.

z Number : The telephone number of the caller is displayed.

Then, press the [Enter] button.

Setting Absence Messages

If you are likely to be away from your station for a while, you can set a

message to be displayed on the LCD. The message also displays on any

calling phone’s LCD.
