The default input mode is set to alphabetic uppercase (English).

Entering Characters

1. Press the [Menu] button to select the alphabetic input mode (uppercase

or lowercase).

2. Press the dial buttons to insert the desired characters (see table,below).

Characters are printed on some of the dial buttons. Each press of a different

button automatically moves the cursor to the right. If the character you want

to enter is the same as the previous character, press the [>] button on the

Navigation buttons to move the cursor one space to the right before press-

ing the required dial button.
