MNo sound is heard during search mode.

DVD disc or HDD playback is available during HDD recording. However, JPEG, MP3, and DivX files in the disc cannot be played back.

Time Shift function as a live signal

This function replays recordings as a live signal.

If you are interrupted while watching a TV programme, simply press the TIME SHIFT button, and the HDD & DVD RECORDER immediately starts recording the programme.

1.Press the TIME SHIFT button on the remote control. The Time Shift menu is displayed.

2.Press the ▲▼button to select On, then press the OK button.

Using the Time Shift function

1.While watching the currently broadcasting programme, press the

PLAY/PAUSE () button.

The programme on TV is set in pause mode and the Time Shift Bar is displayed.

2.Press the PLAY/PAUSE () button again to resume watching the programme.

Buttons on the Remote Control used for Time Shift function

1.PLAY/PAUSE () button : Pause live TV and resumes playback.

2.SEARCH () buttons : Fast play ( X 2, X 4, X 8, X 16, X 32, X 128)

3.SKIP () button, STOP () button : Switches to live TV.

4.SKIP () button : Returns to the point where Time Shift begines.

MThe Time Shift is available only when HDD mode is selected.

You can use this function for up to maximum two hours.

You can only play the contents by using the menu when the Time Shift is set to On.
