Stap 1: Selecteer het schijftype of de vaste schijf (HDD)

Controleer voordat u gaat opnemen de schijftypen die beschikbaar zijn.

Als u herhaaldelijk op dezelfde schijf wilt opnemen of als u de schijf na de opname wilt bewerken, kiest u een herschrijfbare DVD±RW- of DVD-RAM-schijf.

Als u een opname zonder wijzigingen wilt opslaan, kiest u een niet-herschrijfbare DVD±R. Het is mogelijk bestanden direct op te slaan op de interne vaste schijf (HDD) of een opgeslagen bestand te bewerken.

Stap 2: De schijf formatteren om de opname te starten

In tegenstelling tot bij een videorecorder, wordt een ongebruikte schijf die in de recorder wordt geplaatst, automatisch geformatteerd. Dit is nodig om de opname op een schijf voor te bereiden.

Bij gebruik van een vaste schijf

Formatteren niet nodig.

Bij gebruik van een DVD-RAM

Dit schijftype kan in de DVD-video-opnameindeling (VR-modus) worden geformatteerd. U kunt opgenomen beelden bewerken en een afspeellijst in de gewenste volgorde maken.

Bij gebruik van DVD-RW

Dit schijftype kan in de DVD-video-indeling (V-modus) of de DVD-Video-opnameindeling (VR-modus) worden geformatteerd. Wanneer u een lege schijf plaatst, wordt u gevraagd of u deze wilt initialiseren of niet.

Als u ‘DVD-VR’of ‘DVD-V’ selecteert, wordt de initialisatie gestart. U kunt een videomodusschijf op verschillende DVD-apparaten afspelen. Een VR-modusschijf kunt u uitgebreider bewerken.

Bij gebruik van een DVD-R

Een DVD-R hoeft niet te worden geformatteerd en alle en opnemen in videomodus wordt ondersteund. U kunt dit type schijf pas op andere DVD-apparaten afspelen nadat deze is voltooid.

Bij gebruik van DVD+RW

•Wanneer u een lege DVD+RW-schijf plaatst, wordt u gevraagd of u deze wilt formatteren of niet. Als u ‘DVD+RW’ selecteert, wordt het formatteren gestart.

Bij gebruik van DVD+R

Dit type schijf wordt automatisch geformatteerd.
