After the completion of above connections;
Set the “Digital Output” to “PCM” (see page 52) in “Audio Setup”.
■Digital connection to audio component without Dolby Digital decoder

Play the disc.
When connecting digitally, DTS-encoded audio tracks will produce distorted sound.
• DVD Disc
When playing a Linear PCM Audio encoded disc, you must use the digital connection
method shown above.
