Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device by yourself.
The power can be turned off if exposed to shock. This is for the protection of the memory card, which means that you will be able to just turn the camera on again and use it.
The flash may fire if the camera is exposed to static electricity. This does not affect the workings of the camera and is not a fault.
