Using nView to View Extended Screen

Using nView to View Extended Screen

You can expand the screen into two display devices and work conveniently in a wide workspace.

1.Connect the external display device (e.g. a monitor or a projector) to the corresponding port of the system. To connect a TV, connect the TV to the TV output port of the system.

2.Click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Display.

3.On the [Display Properties] window, click Settings tab > Advanced > nView tab. Select the desired item, and click Apply.

nView provides the following three display modes:

•Standard Mode

The Screen image is displayed only through the primary device, LCD.

•Duplication Mode

The same screen image is displayed through both the primary device, (the LCD) and the external display device.

•Horizontal/Vertical Span Mode

The screen image is spanned to the primary device(the LCD), and the external display device.

Duplication Mode

Horizontal Span Mode

Vertical Span Mode

Pressing the <Fn+F4 / LCD/CRT> shortcut key combination switches the display mode between the standard and duplication modes of nView.
