PIP (Picture-In-Picture, SCL860/L870 only) PIP (Image sur Image) (SCL860/L870)

✤The PIP(Picture-In-Picture) feature works in combination with

the DIGITALZOOM function by using a small, superimposed

screen to show an image that is wider than the image being

recorded. This should help you to get a more clear idea of what

you are recording.

- The PIPfunction works in CAMERA mode only.

1. Set the power switch to CAMERAmode

and LOCK/STANDBYswitch to

STANDBYmode.

2. Turn on DIGITALZOOM. (see page 31)

3. Press the MENU ON/OFF button,

the MENU List will be displayed.

4. Turn the UP/DOWN dial until

PIP..........OFF is highlighted.

5. Press ENTER, the PIPON and a

small screen should appear.

6. Check which part you are recording

on the PIPscreen, and turn the Zoom

button to “T” position to activate the

DIGITALZOOM mode.

■Start recording by pressing the

START/STOPbutton when the

portion you want to record appears.

7. Setting PIP......ON to OFF in the MENU will make the small

screen disappear and switch the PIPmode off.

Note: ■When you use PIPfunction while making a recording,

the PIPscreen will be recorded on the Tape.

■The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in

EASYor REC mode.

■PIPfunction will not operate in DSE mode.

✤La fonction PIP(Image sur Image) fonctionne avec la fonction

ZOOM NUMÉRIQUE en incrustant un petit écran qui montre

une image plus large que l'image filmée. Ceci doit vous

permettre d’avoir une meilleure idée de ce que vous êtes en

train de filmer.

- La fonction PIPest disponible uniquement en mode

Caméscope. 1. Placez le commutateur principal sur

la position CAMERAet le bouton

LOCK/STANDBYsur le mode veille

(STANDBY).

2. Activez la fonction Zoom numérique.

(Voir page 31.)

3. Appuyez sur la touche MENU

ON/OFF.

La liste des menus s’affiche.

4. Sélectionnez l'option PIP.....OFF à

l'aide du bouton UP/DOWN.

5. Appuyez sur la touche ENTER.

La fonction PIPest activée (ON) et

un petit écran apparaît.

6. Contrôlez quelle partie vous filmez

sur l’écran PIPet tournez le bouton

Zoom sur la position “T” pour activer

le mode Zoom numérique.

Appuyez sur la touche

START/STOPpour commencer à

filmer lorsque la partie souhaitée

apparaît dans l’écran PIP.

7. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche ENTER pour désactiver la

fonction PIP(OFF) et faire disparaître l'écran PIP.

Remarque:■ l’écran PIPest enregistré sur la bande s’il est

affiché pendant le tournage.

■La fonction MENU ON/OFF n'est pas disponible

en mode EASYou REC.

■La fonction PIPnést pas disponible en mode

DSE.
