Your m achine supports Macintosh systems w ith a built-in USB

interface or a 10/100 Base-TX network interface card. When

you print a file from a Macintosh computer, you can use the

P ostS crip t dr iv e r by in stalling the PPD file.

OTE

:

Some printers do not support a network

interface. Make sure that your printer supports a

network interface by referring to Printer Specifications

in your Printer User’s Guide.

Installing Software for

Macintosh

The PostSc rip t dri ver CD-RO M that came w ith y ou r machine

prov ide s y o u with the PPD file to u se th e PS d r iver, Apple

LaserW riter driver, for printing on a Macintosh computer.

Also, it provides you with the Twain driver for scanning on a

Macintosh computer.

Install the Printer driver

Connect your machine to the computer using the USB

cable or the E thernet cable.

Turn on your computer and the machine.

Insert the PostScript driver CD-ROM which came with your

machine into the CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the

Samsung MFP

on your Macintosh

desktop.

Double-click the

MAC_Installer

folder.

Double-click the

MAC_Printer

folder.

Double-click the

Samsung MFP Installer OSX

ico n.

Click

Continue

.

Click

Install

.

After the installation is finished, click

Quit

.

Uninstalling the Printer driver

Un install is req uired if you are upgra d i ng t he soft ware, or if

installation fails.
