Receive: allows you to enable or disable the reception of push messages. Choose between Always, Never or SMS-C specific.

Service center: allows the recipient of your message to send you a reply through your message center, if your network supports this service.

Broadcast messages

The broadcast service delivers short messages on various topics such as the weather or traffic.

Use this menu (Menu 2.7) to change the settings for the service and to access broadcast messages.

Read: open received messages.

•The Archive box saves network messages indefinitely. Press the Options soft key and select Save when a text notification appears to save to the Archive box.

•The Temporary box saves network messages until the phone is switched off.

Receive: enable or disable the reception of broadcast messages.

Channel: specify the channels from which you receive broadcast messages.

Memory status

You can check the memory amount available and remaining for storing the messages.

1.From the Idle menu, select Menu 2.8 for Memory status.

2.The screen displays the amount of memory being used by your text messages. Press the left and right soft keys to view the memory usage of Multimedia messages, Email, and Push messages.

3.When you have finished, press the key.
