The basics

3.Press the Up or Down Navigation key to scroll to an option, and press the Left or Right Navigation key to change the setting.

The following options are available:

•Home screen layout: Select the layout to be used for the Home screen.

Note: The Card Wheel layout may not display all information or allow you to access all files.

•Colour scheme: Select the colour scheme to be used for the Home screen.

•Background image: Select an image to use as a background image on the Home screen.

•Time out: Specify the length of time the device waits before returning the display to the Home screen if the device is not used.

4.When you have finished, press the Done soft key.

Note: Depending on your SIM card, the phone may display the names of the PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) and the SPN (Service Provider Name). However, only Samsung themes, such as Samsung Simple, Popup, Calendar, and Clock, will display both of them at the same time. Other themes will display either the PLMN or the SPN, according to the SIM card settings.

Start menu screen

On the Start menu, you can access all of the programs in your device. On the Home screen, press the Start soft key to open the Start menu screen.
