Bixby Voice

Bixby Voice is a voice service that helps you use the device more conveniently.

You can talk to Bixby Voice or type text. Bixby Voice will launch a function you request or show the information you want. It also learns your usage patterns and environments. The more it learns about you, the more precisely it will understand you.

•To use Bixby Voice, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile network.

•To use Bixby Voice, you must sign in to your Samsung account.

Using Bixby Voice

When you launch Bixby Voice for the first time, you can set the language to communicate with Bixby Voice and voice wake-up. You can also view Bixby Voice tutorials.

When you press and hold the Bixby key, Bixby Voice will launch and start listening.

While pressing and holding the Bixby key, say what you want to Bixby Voice, and then release your finger from the key.

Open the Bixby Voice full screen.

If Bixby Voice is on standby (), it cannot listen to your voice. Tap the standby status icon () and say your request again when the icon changes to the listening status icon ().
