¦Recording
You can make a recording of a TV Programme using a Samsung recorder.
1. Select Recording.
When there are more than two recordi ng devices

When multiple recording devic es are connected, the recording d evices are listed. Select one re cording device in
the Device List.
When the recording device is not dis played, press the
a
button in the Device List menu to searc h devices.
2. Press the EXIT button to exit.
You can record the source streams by selecting R ecording: (device_name).
Pressing the
(REC) button will record whatever you are cu rrently watching. If you are watching vide o from
another device, the video from the dev ice is recorded.
Before recording, check whether the a ntenna jack is properly conn ected to the recording device. To properly
connect an antenna to a recording dev ice, refer to the recording device’s users ma nual.
¦Listening through a Receiver
You can listen to sound through a receiver (i.e Home Theatre) instead of the TV Speaker.
1. Select Receiver and set to On.
2. Press the EXIT button to exit.
If your receiver supports audio o nly, it may not appear in the device list.
The receiver will work when you have pr operly connected the optica l in jack of the receiver to the DIGITAL AUDIO
OUT (OPTICAL) jack of the TV.
When the receiver (i.e Home Theatre) is set to O n, you can hear sound output from the T V’s Optical jack. When the
TV is displaying a DTV (aerial) s ignal, the TV will send out 5.1 channel sou nd to the receiver. When the source is a
digital component such as a DVD and i s connected to the TV via HDMI, onl y 2 channel sound will be hea rd from
the receiver.
