How to remove the ink ribbon

1 Open the ink ribbon slot cover.

2 Remove the ink ribbon.

1Lift the lock lever.

2 Lift out the ink ribbon.

CAUTION

Cautions when replacing the ink ribbon

iDo not insert fingers into the ink ribbon slot. Immediately after printing, the inside of the printer is very hot. If fingers etc. are inserted into the ink ribbon slot, they may get burned.

iWhen removing the ink ribbon, take care not damage the ribbon by touching it.

Do not rewind the ink ribbon

iOnce used, the ink ribbon cannot be used again even if it is rewound.
