SINGLE IMAGE RECORDING

The single image recording function of this VCR can be used to create image data files or animations.

Single Image Recording Setup

1In stop mode, press the REC/PLAY SPEED l (or j) button, to set the recording speed to “0 00”.

2Press the MENU button until the (SET UP 4) menu is displayed.

3Turn the JOG dial, until the “FIELD” setting is flashing.

4Turn the SHUTTLE ring, to set the number of fields (images) to record every time.

5Turn the JOG dial, until the “INTERVAL” setting is flashing.

6Turn the SHUTTLE ring, to set the interval between each image recording.

NOTES:

œThe trigger at the 1 SHOT IN terminal should be on for 0.1 sec. or more.

œThe trigger interval at the 1 SHOT IN terminal varies according to the number of images to record, but should be over 1 sec.

œTo do alarm recording while in single image recording mode, display the (SET UP 3) menu and set “SERIES REC IN” to “N”.

œIf a single image recording trigger is not received (or if the REC button is not pressed) during the duration set for “INTERVAL”, single image recording will be conducted automatically after the set duration.

œIf a single image recording trigger is received (or if the REC button is pressed) during the duration set for “INTERVAL”, single image recording will be conducted immediately.

œWhen using the 1 SHOT IN terminal, connect a make-contact switch (no voltage) between the 1 SHOT IN and COM terminals.

7Press the SEARCH/AUDIO ON button to save the settings.

8Press the REC button.

øThe single image recording mode will be activated (the VCR will be in recording stand-by mode).

9Press the REC button one more time, or send a trigger through the 1 SHOT IN terminal on the back panel, to start the single image recording.

NOTE:

œIf at step 4, a setting other than “1” is selected for “FIELD”, recording will be done in 120-hour mode. The recording speed cannot be modified.

œIf an alarm trigger is received while in single image recording mode, alarm recording will be conducted in 2-hour recording mode then single image recording mode will continue.

NOTE:

œDuring single image recording mode, alarm recording can only be conducted in 2-hour recording mode.
