The physical design characteristics of the drive(s) described herein, serve to minimize EMI radiation when installed in an enclosure that provides reason- able shielding. As such, the drive(s) are capable of meeting the Class B limits of the FCC Rules and the Regulations of the Canadian Department of Communi- cations.
Note. It is the end users' responsibility to assure that the drive(s) described herein meet the appro- priate EMI requirements of their system. Shielded I/O cables may be required if the enclosure does not provide adequate shield- ing. If I/O cables are external to the enclosure, shielded cables should be used, with the shields grounded to the enclosure and to the host controller.
