SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENT
HOW TO REMOVE THE MOWER HOUSING
1 Move _he lift lever to the MIDDLE position
2 Move the blade engagement control lever [o the DISENGAGE position
3Disconnect the blade drive link from the pivol rod and
bracket assembly See illustration C below
4Remove [he hair pins thai hold time hangers Io the adius[er
plates See illustrabons A'and'B below
5Move [he mower housing to the left until the right side hanger sepa[ates from the adjuster plate Then move [he
mower housing to the right ungt the left side hanger separates from the adjuster plate
6Remove the long pin from the front suspension bracket See
illustration 'D" below
7Remove the mower drive belt from the s[ack pulley Slide the mower drive belt beIween _he stack pulley and the belt guide
8Comple:e[y Iurn the steering wheel to the bghi Pull the mower housing away from the left side of the unit
HOW TO INSTALL THE MOWER HOUSING
1Completely turn the steering wheel Io [he right Push [he mower housing under time left side of the unit
2Slide the mower drive belt belween the stack pulley and the
beltguide PuIthemowerdrivebellaroundthestackpulley
Make surethe"V side of the mower drive belt is against the stack pulley Make sure the drive belt is not twisted
3AItach the mower housing to the front suspension bracket with the long pin Fasten with the washer and hair pin See
illustration "D" below
4Attach the rear hangers [othe adiuster plates Fasten with
the hair pins See illustrations"A" | and"B" | below |
5Connect the blade drive link to the pivot rod and bracket assembly Fasten with a clevis pin and a hair pin See illustration C below
6Move the blade engagement control lever to the ENGAGE posibon Make sure the mower drive belt is inside all the be_t guides
7Check the operation of the blade engagement control lever
