When an error message is displayed on the display, proceed as follows:
Display Meaning Remedy
BLANK ●Nothing is recorded. ●Replace the disc with a
recorded disc.
E-DISC
●The disc is damaged or
the music information is
not written properly on the
disc.
●Replace the disc.
E-SYS ●The unit is malfunctioning
and will require service. ●For service, contact your local Sharp authorized
servicer.
E-TEMP ●The temperature is too
high. ●Turn off the power, and wait for a while.
E-TOC
E-UTOC ●The disc is damaged. ●Replace the disc.
Lo BATT
●The battery has run down. ●Charge the rechargeable
battery or replace the
alkaline battery (or use
the AC adaptor for power).
No DISC ●A disc has not been
loaded. ●Load a disc.
POWER? ●Improper power is being
supplied. ●Use one of the specified power sources.
?DISC ●There is an error in the
signal from the disc. ●Replace the disc.
