■Refund entries
For a refund entry, press the Fkey just before you press a department key, àkey, direct PLU key or U
key or just before you scan an EAN code. The operation before pressing the Fkey is the same as the
one of normal operation. For example, if a refund item is the one entered into a department, enter the
amount of the refund, then press the Fkey and the corresponding department key in this order; if an item
entered into a PLU is returned, enter the corresponding PLU code, then press the Fand Ukeys; and if a
refund item is the one entered into an EAN, press the Fkey and scan the EAN code.
■Return entries
For a return entry, press the ®key just before you press a department key, àkey, direct PLU key or U
key or just before you scan an EAN code. The operation before pressing the ®key is the same as the
one of normal operation. For example, if a return item is the one entered into a department, enter the
amount of the return, then press the ®key and the corresponding department key in this order; if an item
entered into a PLU is returned, enter the corresponding PLU code, then press the ®and Ukeys; and if a
returned item is the one entered into an EAN, press the ®key and scan the EAN code.
