Basic Procedure

Connect the required external equipment to the projector before operating the following procedures.

The language preset at the factory is English. If you want to change the on-screen display to another language, reset the language ac- cording to the procedure on page 31.

1 Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

The POWER indicator illuminates red, and the projector enters standby mode.

2 Press on the remote control or on the projector.

The blinking green LAMP indicator shows that the lamp is warming up. Wait until the indicator stops blinking before operating the projector.

If the power is turned off and then im- mediately turned on again, it may take a short while before the lamp turns on.

Note

After the projector is unpacked and turned on for the first time, a slight odour may be emitted from the ex- haust ventilative holes. This odor will soon disappear with use.

When the power is on, the LAMP in- dicator illuminates, indicating the sta- tus of the lamp.

Green: Lamp is ready.

Green blinking: Warming up. / Cooling down.

Red: Change the lamp.
