SMS (Text Messages)

The display tells you if the message memory is full. Press OK to confirm and delete individual messages you no longer require from the incoming and draft message list.

Opening with the menu

[MENU]		Press the display key to open the menu.

Viewing the date and time of an incoming text messageYou can view the date and time of an incoming text message.

		Press the message key.

[__________] [Date and Time	]	Select the menu item and confirm. The telephone
	[OK ]	number, date and time are displayed.

Reading and deleting text messages in the incoming message listPrecondition: You have opened the incoming message list (page 34).

[Read SMS	] [OK ]	Confirm. Use sto view the continuation of the
		text message in the display.
or ...		Delete an individual SMS:
[__________] [Delete Entry	]	Select the menu item and confirm. The next SMS is
	[OK ]	now displayed.
		Long press (back to idle status).

A new message which you have read acquires the status Old.
