Registering and de-registering handsets

Manual registration:Gigaset 1000 to 4000 and other handsets with GAP functionality

This section describes how to connect handsets belonging to the Gigaset families, handsets A 2, C 2, S 1 or handsets of other devices with GAP functionality to your C 100/C 150 .

1. On the handset

Start to register the handset as described in its operating instructions.

2. On the base

Press the Registration/Paging key on the base (page 40) until you hear a signal tone (C 150 only) (approx. 3 sec.).. Registration is initiated.

The next unassigned internal number (1–6) is automatically assigned to the handset as it is registered. If all the numbers have been assigned, number 6 is overwritten provided the handset is in idle status.

De-registering handsetsYou can de-register any registered handset from any registered C 1 handset.

Select the menu item and confirm.

Press the display keyto confirm the prompt.

 

 

 

Page handset

If you have mislaid your handset you can 'page' it with the help of the base. The Regis- tration/Paging key is on the base to the right of the handset shell (page 40).

Press the Registration/Paging key on the base for 1 second. All handsets will ring together ('Paging').

End paging:

Press the Registration/Paging key on the base again for 1 second or press the top half of the ckey.

Paging ends automatically after 30 seconds.

The paging call can be heard even when the ringer is switched off.
