Tap Method Text Entry Rules
• Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its
characters. See the character chart on page 32.
•If you do not press a key for 2 seconds, the character in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves to the next position.
•Press Sleft or right to move the flashing cursor to the left or right in a text message.
•The first character of every sentence is capitalized. To force the character to lowercase while it is highlighted by the block cursor, press Sdown.
•Your phone may support multiple languages. The current language setting determines whether a new message begins on the left or right side of the display.
You can switch languages within a message. Press M to select the text entry method and language.
•If you enter or edit information and do not want to save your changes, press Oto exit without saving.
