Receiving Messages

Note: You must set up the text message inbox before you can receive text messages. See page 69.

When your text message inbox is full, you must delete old messages before you can open new ones.

Your phone checks for new Email messages periodically, or whenever you select

M> Messages M> Send/Receive Mail

or else

M> Messages > Email Msgs

When you receive a new text message, your phone displays New Message g and gives an alert. If reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder every five minutes until you close the new message notification, read the message, or turn off your phone (see page 102). From the new message notification:
