Hide Channels

The hide feature allows you to designate channels to not be displayed when browsing channel lists.

Hiding or Showing Channels

1.Press the Setup button.

2.Select Parental Controls Hide Channels. (Figure 1)

3.Select a channel to hide or show, or select Show All to show all hidden channels. Hid-

den channels will have the hidden icon next to them. (Figure 2)

4.You may continue hiding or showing channels until you have finished. Use the Back button to exit the Hide Channels menu.

FM Transmitter

When docked in the vehicle docking station, the Sirius S50 can transmit on an FM frequency which may be received by an FM radio, such as the FM radio in your home or vehicle.

Three FM frequencies may be chosen as FM presets allowing you to quickly change the FM broadcast frequency.

Changing an FM Preset

1.Press the Setup button.

2.Select Device Settings FM Frequencies and the FM preset you wish to change. (Figure 1)

3.Use the Media Dial to choose a new FM frequency. (Figure 2)

4.Press the Select button to set the new FM frequency.

Notes:

The hide feature differs from the lock feature in that a locked channel will be displayed while browsing a list (but is password protected), while a hidden channel will never appear in a list.

Hidden channels are not locked, but can only be tuned by directly entering the channel num- ber using the numeric keypad on the remote control.

Notes:

When selecting a frequency for a preset, if you scroll all the way to the left the preset is set to None.
