Maintenance
WARNING
To avoid serious injury, perform maintenance on the unit only when the engine is stopped and all moving parts have stopped. Always remove the ignition key before beginning maintenance or adjustments to prevent accidental starting of the engine.

General Lubrication
Lubricate the snowthrower as shown in Figure 2. Where an oil can is shown use 30 weight oil. Where a grease gun is shown, use lithium grease. Lubricate the following areas:
•Oil the chute deflector.
•Oil the deflector locking control.
•Grease the chute ring gear.
•Grease the
•Grease the auger bearings.
•Grease the the auger shaft grease fittings.
Check gear box oil level.
At least once a year.
