Building Macros

Individual keypad button macros are programmed in the
MACRO EDITOR window. To open MACRO EDITOR:
1. Open the DEVICE screen (see

Figure 44,

opposite).
2. If the system has more than one DAB1, use the DEVICE
SELECTOR (see

Figure 41

) to select the one you want to
program. The Zone 1 programming screen for that
DAB1 will appear (see

Figure 45

).
The Zone 1 programming screen will include one
set of VOLUMEUP/DOWN, MUTE and ZONE OFF
buttons and four sets of ZONE SOURCE CONTROL and
numeric buttons (one for each source). The source
names you selected on the SOURCE SETUP screen (see

Figure 43

, on page 33) will appear on the four
SOURCE buttons.
3. Right-click on the button you want to create or modify a
macro for.
• If the button already has been programmed with a
macro (a MACRO INDICATOR appears on the
button) select EDIT MACRO.
If the button has not been programmed with a macro (no MACRO INDICATOR appears on the button) select CREATE MACRO.
The MACRO EDITOR screen will appear. See

Figure 46

, on page 36.
