5Connecting the other components

You can enjoy the connected component using the speakers of the system.

DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter

To the digital coaxial output jack of another component (e.g.: digital satellite receiver)

To connect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter

Connect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter to the DMPORT jack. For details, see “Using the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT Adapter” (page 73).

Note

•Connect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter so that the V marks are aligned. When disconnecting, pull out while pressing A.

•Do not connect or disconnect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter to/from the control unit while the system is turned on.

Tip

•You can assign a digital sound input corresponding with the function “TV” and “SAT/CABLE.” For details, see [DIGITAL IN] (page 95).
