The TIMER/STAND BY indicator blinks untilthe picture appears on the screen.

Turnthe cable mode on or off toselect the type of channel you want towatch, VHF/UHF or cable TV.

(Follow the steps in'q'urning the Cable Mode On or Off," p. 17.)

If "VIDEO" or "S VIDEO"is displayed onthe screen, press the TV/VlDEO button on the TV

or on the Remote Commander so that thechannel number appears.

Select a channel inone of the following two ways:

To scanthe preset channels* innumerical sequence

Press CH +/-.

CH

To select a channel directly

Press 0 -9 and ENTER.

Forexample, to select channel 14, press 1,4 and ENTER.
