Locating a Particular Point in a Track

You can search for a particular point in a track while playing a disc.

0/) SHUTTLE ring

To search for

You need to

 

 

A point while

Press )(forward) or 0(backward)

monitoring the sound

and hold down until you find the

 

point

 

 

A point quickly by

Press 0/)and hold down until

observing the display

you find the point. You will not hear

during pause

the sound during the operation.

 

 

A point using the

Turn the SHUTTLE ring and hold until

SHUTTLE ring

you find the point. The search speed

 

increases as you turn the SHUTTLE

 

ring further.

 

 

Note

If “- OVER -” appears in the display, the disc has reached the end while you were pressing the )button or turning the SHUTTLE ring clockwise. Press 0or turn the SHUTTLE ring counterclockwise to go back.

Playing Tracks Repeatedly

You can play tracks repeatedly in any play mode.

REPEATA-B

Press REPEAT while playing a disc.

“REPEAT” appears in the display. The player repeats the tracks as follows:

To cancel Repeat Play

Press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT” disappears from the display.

Repeating the current track

You can repeat only the current track in any play mode.

While the track you want is being played, press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT 1” appears in the display.
