Selecting a method for using the remote
Connections between the Unit and each device are made via cables or cords coming through the wall.
You can operate a component using the remote if the IR IN/OUT terminal of the Unit and the component are connected. For example, if you connect IR IN of the Unit and IR OUT of a TV, you can operate the Unit with the Remote by aiming it at the TV.
1Press the “V” SELECT on the HOME Menu, then press the “SETUP” SELECT.
The Setup Menu appears.
2Press the “V” SELECT repeatedly until “IR ROUTE” appears on the front panel display.
3Press the “IR ROUTE” SELECT.
The IR route setup Menu appears.
4Select a method for using the remote.
The default setting is underlined.

Setting up the Units
Contact your nearest installer for details on the default setting for each parameters.

Setting an IP Address
There are two ways to acquire an IP address. The default setting is underlined.
•AUTO: You can acquire the IP address automatically.
Normally, select this setting.
•MANUAL: You can set up the IP address manually. Because some knowledge of networking is required to use this setting, we recommend you normally to select “AUTO.”
1Press the “V” SELECT on the HOME Menu, then press the “SETUP” SELECT.
The Setup Menu appears.
2Press the “V” SELECT repeatedly until “LAN” appears on the front panel display.
3Press the “LAN” SELECT.
The LAN setup Menu appears.
4Press the “IP ADDRESS” SELECT.
The IP address setup Menu appears.
