P/M (Play Mode)

•LOCAL-ON/OFF (Local seek mode) (page 11)

– Select “ON” to only tune into stations with

stronger signals.

•MONO-ON/OFF (Monaural mode) (page 11)

– Select “ON” to hear FM stereo broadcast in

monaural. Select “OFF” to return to normal

mode.

•RE G-ON/OFF ( Regional) (pa g e 13)

1Press (MENU).

To set A.SCRL, press (MENU) during CD

Playback.

2Press ei t her si de of (PRESET)

repeatedly until the desired item

appears.

3Press t he (+ ) s ide of (SEEK) to select

the desired setting (E xam ple: ON or

OFF).

4Press (ENTER).

After the mode setting is complete d , the

disp lay re turns to norm al play mode.

The displayed item will differ depending on the source.

Tip

You can easily switch among categories (“SET,”

“DSPL,” “SND,” and “P/M”) by pressing either side of

(PRESET) for 2 seconds.

Selecting the sound position

— My Best sound Position (MB P)

When you drive without passengers, you ca n

enjo y the most comfor t able so und environment

with “My Best sound Position.”

“My Best sound Position” has two presets, which

adjus t the sound level of bala nce and fade r. You

can select one very easily wit h the MBP butto n.

Press (MBP) repeatedly for the desired

listening position.

The mod e of “My Best sound Position” is

shown in th e di splay in or der of the t able.

After one second, the display goes back to the

normal playback mode.

If you want to adjust the sound level of

balanc e and fader mo re precisely, y ou can do

it using the (SOUND) but t o n (page 18 ).

Notes

•When the BAL (balance) or F AD (fader) in “Adjusting

the s o un d ch ar a c teri s ti c s” (page 18) is adjusted, the

MBP setting returns OFF.

•When MBP in set to OFF, the BAL and FAD setting

is activated.
