Setting the equalizer

You can select an equalize r cu rve for sev en

music types (VOCAL, CLUB, JAZZ, NEW

AGE, ROCK, CUSTOM, and XPLOD).

You can store and adjust the equalizer settings

for frequency and level.

Selecting the equalizer curve

1Press (SOURCE) to select a source

(radio or CD).

2Press (EQ7) repeatedly until the

desired equalizer curve.

Each time you press (EQ7), the item

changes.

To cancel the equalizing effect, selec t “OFF.”

After three seconds, the display returns to the

norma l pl ayback mo de.

Adjusting the equalizer curve

1Press (MENU).

2Press eith er side of (PRESET)

repeatedly un til “EQ7 TUN E” appears,

then press (ENTER).

3Press eith er side of (SEEK) to select

the desi red equalizer curve , th en

press (ENTER).

Each time you press (SEEK), the item

changes.

4Select the desired frequency and level.

1Press either side of (SEEK) to se lect

the desired frequency.

Each time you pres s (SEEK), the

frequency changes.

adjust the desired volu m e level.

The volume level is adjustable by 1 dB

steps from –10 dB to +10 dB.

To rest ore the factory-set eq ualizer curve,

press (ENTER) for 2 secon d s.

5Press (MENU) twice.

When the effect setting is complete, the

normal playback mode appears.
