Tuning in stations by

programme type

— PTY

You can tune in a station by selecting the type of

programme you would l ike to listen to.

Note

You cannot use this funct ion in some cou ntr i e s where

no PTY (Programme Type selection) data is available.

1Press (PTY/DSPL) during FM reception

until “PTY” appears.

The cu rr ent prog ramme t ype nam e appears if

the station is transmitting the PTY data.

“--------” appears if the rec e ive d s ta tio n is no t

an RDS station, or if the RDS data is not

received.

2Press (PRESET) repeatedly until the

desired programme type appears.

“--------” appears if the progra mme type is not

specifie d in th e R DS da ta.

3Press (ENTER).
