How to store the battery pack
•If the battery pack is not used for a long time, fully charge the battery pack and discharge it on your camcorder once a year to maintain the proper function. To store the battery pack, remove it from your camcorder and put it in a dry, cool place.
•To use the battery pack up on your camcorder, leave your camcorder in the recording standby without a disc inserted with the [A. SHUT
OFF] to [NEVER] in the 
STANDARD SET in the SETUP display until the power goes off (p.69).
Battery life
•The battery life is limited. Battery capacity drops little by little as you use it more and more, and as time passes. When the available battery time is shortened considerably, a probable cause is that the battery pack has reached the end of its life. Please buy a new battery pack.
•The battery life varies according to how it is stored, the operating conditions, and environment in which each battery pack is used.
