Topreventmoldfromoccurring,periodicallyperformtheabove.

Werecommendturningonandoperatingyourcamcorderaboutoncepermonthto keepyourcamcorderinanoptimumstateforalongtime.

Battery pack

•Useonlythespecifiedchargerorvideoequipmentwiththechargingfunction.

•Topreventanaccidentalshortcircuit,donotallowmetalobjectstocomeintocontact withthebatteryterminals.

•Keepthebatterypackawayfromfire.

•Neverexposethebatterypacktotemperaturesabove60°C(140°F),suchasinacar parkedinthesunorunderdirectsunlight.

•Keepthebatterypackdry.

•Donotexposethebatterypacktoanymechanicalshock. •Donotdisassemblenormodifythebatterypack. •Attachthebatterypacktothevideoequipmentsecurely.

•Chargingwhilesomecapacityremainsdoesnotaffecttheoriginalbatterycapacity.

Note on dry batteries

Toavoidpossibledamagefrombatteryleakageorcorrosion,observethefollowing:

–Besuretoinsertthebatterieswiththe+–polaritiesmatchedtothe+–marks.

–Drybatteriesarenotrechargeable.

–Donotuseacombinationofnewandoldbatteries.

–Donotusedifferenttypesofbatteries.

–Currentflowsfrombatterieswhenyouarenotusingthemforalongtime.

–Donotuseleakingbatteries.

If batteries are leaking

•Wipeofftheliquidinthebatterycompartmentcarefullybeforereplacingthebatteries. •Ifyoutouchtheliquid,washitoffwithwater.

•Iftheliquidgetintoyoureyes,washyoureyeswithalotofwaterandthenconsulta doctor.

Ifanyproblemoccurs,unplugyourcamcorderandcontactyournearestSonydealer.
