Toremovethedisc

@ Perform steps 1and 2to open the disc
cover.
@ Press the disc holder in the center of the
disc compartment, and remove the disc by
holding the edge.

• Be carelul not to obstruct the operation with
your hand or nlher objecls, when opening or
closing the disc cover. Move the grip bell tothe
bntlom nl the camcorder, then open orclose the
disc cnver.
• If you catch the grip belt when closing the disc
cover, itmay causeyour camcorder to
malffmclion.
• Do not Iouch the disc with the recording side or
pickup lens (p. 125).
When using adnuble=sided disc, lake care not to
smudge thesnrlace with fillgerprints.
• It"you close the disc cover with the disc set
incorreclly, itmay cause ynur camcnrder to
malfunclion.
• Dnnot disconnect the power sources while
fnrmalling adisc.
• Dn not apply shock orvibratinn to ynur
camcorder since yourcamcorder is reading/
writing on the disc:

• Itmay take some time to remove the disc
depending on the recorded cnntents.
• It may take about 10 minutes to remove adisc it"
the disc has scratches or isdirty with
fingerprints, etc. In that case, the disc might be
damaged.

• You caninsert or remove the disc when a power
source isconnecled 1oynur camcorder even
when ynur camcoMer is turned off. However,
tile disc recognition process {step 4) does not
start.
• Tn delete all nllhe previously recorded images
from a DVD=RW/DVD+RW, tllen In use it
again 1orecord new images, see "Formatting
media" (p. 73).
