To turn the D5600K gain amplifier on or off:
When color temperature is high, signal to noise ratio of blue component becomes better as compared to the correction with the
CCfilter. And also, when lighting is dark and color temperature is high, it is possible to correct color temperature with sensitivity higher than CC filter.
