This section describes the basic menu displays and how to change the settings.

Press the SET/MENU button while holding down the SHIFT button.

Displaying the menus on the monitor Menu setting can be done on the monitor while superimposing is set to ON.

If the SET/MENU button is pressed while holding down the SHIFT button to display the menu settings in the time data display area, a full-screen version also appears on a monitor connected to the COMPOSITE (SUPER) output connector, SDI (SUPER) output connector (J-10SDI/30SDI only), or DV connector as shown in the above figure.

Changing the currently displayed menu item

JOG/SHUTTLE button

JOG/SHTL indicator

JOG/SHUTTLE dial

Turn the JOG/SHUTTLE dial.

Turning the JOG/SHUTTLE dial to the right increments the item number and turning it to the left decrements the item number.

The item number changes at a rate depending on the JOG/SHUTTLE dial position (when the SHTL indicator is lit) or on the JOG/SHUTTLE dial rotation rate (when the JOG indicator is lit).
