Lights when the unit is in either of the following operating states.
•When a tape recorded in HDV format is being played back.
•When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [AUTO] and HDV signals are being input from the 
HDV/DV jack.
•When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [HDV].
bDVCAM indicator
Lights when the unit is in either of the following operating states.
•When a tape recorded in DVCAM format is being played back.
•When the following four conditions are met:
–When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [AUTO].
–When [
REC MODE] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [DVCAM].
–When DV or DVCAM signals are being input from any of the input jacks.
–During recording or in EE mode.
•When the following three conditions are met:
–When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [DV].
–When [
REC MODE] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [DVCAM].
–During recording or in EE mode.
cDV indicator
Lights when the unit is in either of the following operating states.
•When a tape recorded in DV format (SP mode only) is being played back.
•When the following four conditions are met:
–When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [AUTO].
–When [
REC MODE] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [DV].
–When DV or DVCAM signals are being input from any of the input jacks.
–During recording or in EE mode.
•When the following three conditions are met:
–When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [DV].
–When [
REC MODE] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is set to [DV].
–During recording or in EE mode.
d60i indicator
Lights when the unit is in one of the following operating states.
•During recording or in EE mode when [60i/50i SEL] in the [OTHERS] menu is set to [60i].
•When1080/60i signals or NTSC signals are input from the 
HDV/DV jack.
•When a tape that has 1080/60i signals or NTSC signals is being played back.
