Typical expansion memory configuration
To remove a memory module
1Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices, such as your
printer.
2Unplug the computer and remove the battery pack(s).
3After the computer has cooled, loosen and remove the screw that secures the
cover of the memory bay on the bottom of your computer. Use an
appropriate screwdriver.
4Touch a metal object (such as the connector panel on the back of your
computer) to discharge any static electricity.
