A: TV Guide On Screen™ setup

This step sets the recorder’s clock and tuner to record broadcasting TV programs.

Once you complete this process there is generally no need to reset the clock. (However, if there are discrepancies in the recorder’s time display or changes made to receivable TV stations, you should make this setting again.)

FOR SATELLITE USERS:

The TV Guide System is NOT compatible with satellite DBS systems. Please select the option

“Don’t remind me again” in the Initial TV Guide Setup Screen shown in step 1 on page 33. After

selecting this option, please proceed to “Language setting” on page 39, and then “Satellite set

top box setting” on page 40 to setup control of your Digital Broadcast Satellite box.
