Checking/changing/cancelling timer settings (Timer List)

You can check, change, or cancel timer settings using the Timer List menu.

aPress SYSTEM MENU.

The System Menu appears.

bPress M/m to select “TIMER LIST,” then press ENTER.

The Timer List menu appears.

1Disc name

To enter a disc name, see “Labelling a disc (Disc Name)” (page 33).

2Timer information:

Displays the recording date, time, recording mode, etc.

•❐ indicates the overlapped setting.

•a (red) indicates the setting currently being recorded.

•z (grey) indicates that the setting cannot be recorded in the selected recording mode.

cPress M/m to select the setting you want to check/change/cancel, then press ENTER.

The sub-menu appears.

dPress M/m to select one of the following items.

•Modify

•Erase

•Check Overlap

◆To modify the settingASelect “Modify,” then press ENTER. The display for modifying appears.

BPress </M/m/, to select the item and change the setting.

To undo the change, press </M/m/, to select “Cancel,” then press ENTER or RETURN.

To change another setting, repeat step 2.

CPress </M/m/, to select “OK,” then press

ENTER.

◆To erase the settingASelect “Erase,” then press ENTER. The display asks for confirmation.

Are you sure you want to erase this timer setting?

OKCancel

If you do not want to erase the setting, select “Cancel,” then press ENTER or RETURN.

BPress </, to select “OK,” then press

ENTER.

◆To check for overlapped settings

ASelect “Check Overlap,” then press ENTER. The display for confirming overlapped settings appears.

These timer settings overlap.

Close

BSelect “Close.”

To change or cancel the setting, press RETURN

to return to the Timer List menu, and repeat steps 3 and d above.

ePress RETURN to turn off the Timer List.

zHint

While recording, you cannot modify the timer setting for the current recording but extend the recording duration time (page 27).
