Precautions

On safety

• Before operating the system, be sure that the
operating voltage of the system is identical
with that of your local power supply.
• Use only the supplied AC adaptor and AC
power cord.

On operation

• Do not open the cabinet. Refer servicing to
qualified personnel only.
• Should any solid object or liquid fall into the
system, have the system checked by
qualified personnel before operating it any
further.
• This system is not magnetically shielded, do
not leave recorded tapes, watches, personal
credit cards, or floppy disks with magnetic
coding in front of the system for an extended
period of time.
• Do not put anything on top of the unit.
• Use the handle on the top of the unit when
you carry it.
• If you do not intend to use the unit for a long
time, at least once every six months, charge
the unit by connecting the AC adaptor, to
protect the battery.

On placement

• Do not set the unit in an inclined position.
• Do not leave the unit in a location near heat
sources, or in a place subject to direct
sunlight, excessive dust, moisture, rain or
mechanical shock.
• Do not place metal objects in front of the
front panel. They may limit reception of
radio waves.
• Do not place th e system in a place where
medical equipment is in use. It may cause a
malfunction of medical equipment.
• If you use a pacemaker or ot her medical
device, consult your physician or the
manufacturer of your medical device before
using the wireless LAN function.

On cleaning

• Wipe the unit using a soft cloth such as the
cloths used for cleaning eye glasses, etc.
• Do not use alcohol, benzine, or thinner to
clean the cabinet.

If the TV picture or monitor

display is magnetically

distorted

This speaker system is not magnetically
shielded, and the picture on nearby TV sets
may become magnetically distorted. In this
situation, turn off the TV, wait 15 to 30
minutes, and turn it back on. If there is no
improvement, move the speakers far away
from the TV.
Remove the built-in lithium-ion battery when
disposing of the unit, and return the battery to
a recycling location.
The procedure for removing the battery is
explained below.
Note
Never disassemble the unit except when disposing
of it.
Notes on the lithium-ion battery
•Keep the battery out of the reac h of children.
•Do not hold the batt ery with metallic tweezers.
Short-circuiting may occur if you do so.
