Notes
Whenstanding the player with the
stand,be careful not to press down or
knockthe player.
Standup the player horizontallyas
shown.Do not stand it up vertically.

Pressand hold the BACK/HOME
buttonto display the Home me nu.
Headphonejack
For connectingthe headphones.
Insertthe jack pin until it clicks into
place.If the headphones are
connected improperly,the sound
fromthe headphones may not sound
right.
WM-PORTjack
Usethis jack to connect the supplied
USBcable, or optional peripheral
devices,such as supported
accessoriesfor the WM-PORT.

HOLDswitch
Youcanprotecttheplayeragainst
accidentaloperation by using the
HOLD switchwhen carrying it. By
slidingthe HOLD switch to the
directionof the arrow,all
operationbuttons are disabled.If you
slidethe HOLD switch to the
oppositeposition, the HOLD
functionis released.
OPTION/PWROFFbutton*1
Displaysthe option menu.
IfyoupressandholdtheOPTION/
PWROFF button, screen turns o
andthe player enters standby mode.
Ifyou press any buttonw hile the
playeris in standby mode, the “Now
Playing”screen, etc., appears and the
playeris ready for operation.
Furthermore, if you leavethe player
instandby mode for about a day,the
playerturns completely o
automatically.If you press any button
whentheplayeristurnedo,the
startupscreenappearsrst,thenthe
“NowPlaying” s creen appears.
Note
eplayer consumes battery power
veryslightly even when it is in standby
mode. erefore,the player might
turn completelyo in a short time,
dependingon the power remaining in
thebattery.
Straphole
Usedto attach a strap (sold
separately).Youcan attach the
suppliedstand and a strap at the same
time.

playerare activated if you pressand hold
the correspondingbuttons.
*2ereare tactile dots. Use them to help
withbutton operations.
