B. ATX Power Supply

ThisM/BcansupportATXPowersupplyversion2.03(with12Vpowerconnector)andolderATXpower supply.

The ATX12V power supply includes a 20-pin ATX connector that complies with the ATX specification, Version 2.03 for M/B specification, a new 4-pin receptacle/header combination--the +12V power connector--has been defined. The presence of the +12V power connector indicates that a power supply is ATX12V;theabsenceofthe+12VpowerconnectorindicatesthatasupplyisATX.Toallowforgreaterthan +3.3V current, the Aux power connector is recommended for ATX and ATX12V power supplies with +3.3Vcurrent>18A.

IftheuserusesanoldATXpowersupply,pleaseconnectthemainpowerconnectorandtheperipherals connectortotheM/B.

IftheuserusesanATXpowersupplyversion2.03,pleaseconnectthemainpowerconnectorand 12VconnectortotheM/B.

Turn off the power supply and unplug the power cord of the ATX power supply before connectingtoATXPWconnector.

TheMotherboardrequiresapowersupplywithatleast250Wattsanda"powergood"signal.Makesurethe ATXpowersupplycantakeat1.5A maxcurrent* loadonthe5VStandbylead(5VSB)tomeetthe standardATXspecification.

Note:

ATX12VpowersupplyisdifferentfromthenormalATXpowersupply.

IfyouusetheWake-On-LAN(WOL)function,makesuretheATXpowersupplycansupportat least720mA onthe5VStandbylead(5VSB).
