Model 1214 Line String Adapter 6.4.7
The 1214 Line String Adapter is a
machined aluminum clip with an
adhesive bottom, which is applied
over the laser’s line pivot bull’s-eye
target and used with a plumb bob
for setting the laser on line.
Operating instructions
1Remove the paper from the
adhesive pad on the 1214.
2Press the 1214 over the line
pivot bull’s-eye target on the Laser
making sure the open slot is facing
the front of the Laser.
3Loop a plumb bob string
through the slot on the 1214.
4Standing in a manhole, or
above an open cut, loop the plumb
bob about 30 cm (one foot) over
your hand.
5Move your arm until the two
plumb bob strings are parallel.
6Turn your hand until both
plumb bob strings are in line with
each other, and in line with the next
manhole’s hub.
